The Neurophone is a device that lets you hear without actually using your ears. It uses radio or ultrasonic waves to achieve this. There were some discussions about it on the OpenEEG Mailing List started by Damian around 2005-05-20. He also reported some of his experiences with it later on. There exists a similar device called the Echofone.
